Job summary

BlackLine is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, SAP, to drive ABAP development and the integration of SAP solutions with the BlackLine Cloud. You will lead technical direction across FI, MM, and SD modules, mentor peers, and ensure scalable, high-quality software delivery.

In this role you will partner with product management and engineering, perform design reviews, and contribute to architecture while supporting customers with deep SAP expertise and agile practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience with SAP ABAP programming and planning.
• Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong technical foundations with leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead ABAP development for SAP S/4HANA integration and cloud native architecture.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer teams to translate needs into technical requirements.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct peer code reviews to ensure quality.
