Job summary

Jit is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to join a fintech project focused on building and scaling modern data solutions, with ownership of the Feature Store architecture.

You will work on Databricks and Spark-based data pipelines, using Python and SQL, and integrate Kafka, Airflow and dbt components within a fintech environment. The role offers flexible hybrid work across Kraków, Warsaw, and Tricity with a strong impact on payments and financial products.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering.
• Proven experience owning Feature Store architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Databricks and Spark.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Kafka / Structured Streaming.
• Experience with Airflow, dbt and CDC.
• Knowledge of Data Lineage and GDPR.
• Familiarity with IFRS 9, DORA and CCD2 is a plus.
