Talan Group is seeking a data-driven professional to help define and automate processes using Big Data technologies (Spark/Scala) within the Market Risk domain. You will be part of a team driving cross‑area Big Data initiatives.

We require 3–5 years in technology projects, strong Scala, Spark and Hadoop, advanced SQL, and English at least B2 (C1 preferred). Basic Shell scripting is also expected. Nice-to‑have Azure Databricks, Airflow, and experience in banking Market Risk.

• Strong knowledge of programming languages, particularly Scala, and Big Data platforms such as Apache Spark and Hadoop.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL.
• English level B2 minimum, preferably C1.
• Basic knowledge of Shell scripting.

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in technology-related projects, including ETL design, data modeling, testing, and data validation.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, particularly Scala, and Big Data platforms such as Apache Spark and Hadoop.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL.
• English level B2 minimum, preferably C1.
• Basic knowledge of Shell scripting.

Nice to Have (Not Mandatory):

• Technical knowledge of Azure Databricks.
• Experience within the banking sector, specifically Market Risk.
• Experience with Airflow as a workflow and pipeline orchestration tool.
