Job summary

Autodesk in Kraków is seeking a Senior Designer to shape the Tandem platform, our SaaS solution for digital twins used by facility managers across airports, plants, hospitals and data centers.

You’ll lead experience design and delivery for full product workflows, collaborating with product management and engineering through discovery, implementation, release, and continuous improvement, applying human-centered design and data visualization to complex building data.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of UX/UI design experience in cross-functional agile teams.
• Strong interaction, information architecture, and visual design skills with wireframes, journey maps and prototypes.
• Excellent presentation and communication, able to tailor content to the audience.
• Desire to own projects end-to-end and collaborate with globally distributed teams.
• Online design portfolio demonstrating complex design challenges.
• Experience with human-centered design and design thinking, facilitation and collaboration.
• Proficiency in Figma, Framer, Sketch or similar tools.

Responsibilities

Are you a seasoned designer eager to join a dynamic team transforming how buildings are designed, built and operated? This is a unique position to join a fast-moving team within Autodesk building out a new market segment for Operations.

You’ll be building Autodesk’s digital twin platform, Tandem, empowering facility managers running mission-critical facilities like airports, manufacturing plants, hospitals, and data centers to operate more safely, sustainably and efficiently.

The Autodesk Tandem Platform team is looking for a Senior Designer with strong SaaS and data visualization experience who is passionate about building great products and solving complex problems. You’ll lead the experience design and delivery for full product workflows, partnering with Product Management and Engineering through discovery, implementation, release, and improvement.

Some of things you might work on include answering “how should we use AI to identify anomalies and make recommendations from IoT?”, “what is the best way to represent different types of data?”, or “how do we help customers organize and understand a whole portfolio of buildings”?

To be successful here, you should be comfortable working through ambiguity and collaborating with a distributed team of product managers, engineers, marketers, and customer success managers. This role requires a diverse skill set including conceptual UX, systems thinking, prototyping, visual design, and user research.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and build great experiences for exploring and understanding building data within the spatial context of 3D models, from initial concept through successful implementation.
• Participate in customer engagements to validate assumptions and concepts, gather input on proposed workflows, and refine the product design.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams and product managers to create effective visual and interaction designs that deliver customer value, while navigating technical constraints and balancing quality vs. speed of delivery.
• Produce design artifacts to drive alignment across teams, including product development, customer programs, sales, and marketing.
• Gather and utilize customer usage, adoption metrics, and other analytics data to inform design decisions.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional UX/UI design experience working with cross‑functional agile teams.
• Excellent interaction, information architecture, and visual design skills. You have no problem visualizing solutions with wireframes, visual designs, journey maps, and prototypes.
• Strong presentation and communication skills. You can effectively present work to everyone from customers, to teammates, and executives and understand how to tailor communication style and content based on the audience.
• Desire to own and drive projects from end to end, and collaborate with globally distributed agile teams in a fast‑moving environment.
• Online design portfolio that demonstrates how you solve complex design challenges
• Experience with modern human‑centered design best practices and customer research methods, and skilled in facilitation and design thinking.
• Expert in design and prototyping tools like Figma, Framer, Sketch, or similar.
• Systems thinker that can make connections between disparate product experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 3D products like game design or architectural software
• Experience designing for data‑rich or complex products and interactions such as CRM, dashboards, or healthcare
• Experience defining and building design systems

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Poland based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $222,000 and $325,600. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
