We’re looking for a UI Engineer to help build and ship features for internal engineering web portal, a critical platform used by all of engineering to operate their services. You’ll work closely with infrastructure teams to create tools that support our massive Kubernetes clusters and continuous delivery platforms. While the role is frontend-focused, there will be opportunities to contribute to backend services as well.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React for frontend development.
• Solid experience in UI/UX design with a strong sense of user experience.
• Strong skills in API design.
• Full-stack capability: ability to build and maintain production-quality backend services.
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across infrastructure, SRE, and product teams.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Golang (preferred) or Python.

Responsibilities:

• Build user-friendly web interfaces with React & TypeScript, focusing on performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Work on state management, performance optimization, component libraries, and scalable UI architecture.
• Integrate frontend with backend services, contributing to API design and ensuring smooth workflows.
• Advocate for usability and developer experience, simplifying complex workflows with strong UI/UX intuition.
• Contribute to backend services in Golang (preferred) or Python for scalable distributed systems.

Overlap time requirements:

10AM PST
