Job summary

Bayer in Warsaw seeks a Senior DLP Engineer to design, implement, and operate enterprise data protection controls across Microsoft Purview and Netskope. You will own complex technical delivery end-to-end and may lead a workstream for a DLP tool stack, ensuring governance and operational stability.

The role bridges security engineering with platform operations and vendor management, supporting the migration from Forcepoint to Purview and Netskope in a highly regulated, multinational environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Several years of hands-on experience in DLP, data protection, or cybersecurity engineering.
Strong scripting/automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and API experience.
Understanding of data protection regulations (GDPR, HIPAA) and data classifications.

Responsibilities

Design, build, tune, and maintain DLP policies across Purview and Netskope (endpoint, network/inline, web, and email).
Test and validate policies in pre-prod and production environments.
Automate policy deployment, rule tuning, exception handling, and alert enrichment; integrate DLP telemetry with SIEM/SOAR (Sentinel/Defender).
Own the solution backlog and ensure alignment with quarterly goals.
Manage vendor relationships for standard issues, licenses, and renewals.
Provide onboarding support to Policy Engineers.
