Job summary

Solera Corporation offers a remote mid developer / data analyst role focused on C#/.NET technologies and data-driven solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain software while analyzing large datasets, supporting billing processes, and collaborating with global teams.

The position requires strong T-SQL, .NET/C#, and BI tooling experience, plus English fluency and a can-do mindset. A flexible, remote setup and ongoing learning opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Transact-SQL.
• Strong knowledge of .NET/C# and ASP.NET WebAPI (or ASP.NET Core).
• Fluency in English; German language knowledge is nice to have.
• Experience with C#, TDD/BDD, SQL Server databases and REST/SOAP webservices.
• Ability to create PowerBI/JasperReport reports; Intermediate MS Excel knowledge.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in all of the above.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, ASP.NET Core MVC, and Web APIs.

• Assist in month end close and compliance with internal controls, occasionally includes working evenings or weekends.
• Assist in coordinating monthly billing cycles and issuance of system generated invoice attachments.
• Configure new billing models.
• Analyse large datasets to troubleshoot billing discrepancies.
• Take ownership of work and see it all the way through the software development life cycle.
• Help to define non-functional requirements and build systems capable of meeting them.
• Improve automation of our CI/CD processes.
• Deliver API enabled components.
• Migrate legacy applications to the cloud.
• Provide mentoring and support to junior developers.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong knowledge of Transact-SQL
