Job summary

Planet is a leading technology company transforming payments with a customer-centric approach. We seek a Technical Solution Engineer skilled in SQL and at least one of Python, Java, or JavaScript.

You will design and implement technical solutions, troubleshoot databases and integrations, and optimize data processing. The role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities to work across Merchant and Hospitality sectors globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL with experience designing and optimizing complex queries.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Experience in system integration, troubleshooting, and implementing technical solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams to understand technical requirements and provide tailored solutions.
• Design and implement technical solutions using SQL and one programming language (Python, Java, or JavaScript).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to databases, applications, and integrations.
• Optimize database performance by writing and tuning complex SQL queries.
• Develop scripts, tools, and applications to enhance system functionality and client workflows.
• Document system processes and configurations for internal and client use.
