Job Summary

Part‑time; 9‑month positions. Estimated 4.25 to 6 hours per day (a.m./p.m. split shift: 6:45 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.). Full benefits year‑round, fully paid insurance, vacation, sick leave; PERS retirement. $16.26/hour for the first 90‑day probationary period; then $18.07/hour.

• Perform physical duties such as managing wheelchairs and special equipment, bending, lifting, and pulling.
• Work with highly behavioral or medically fragile students.
• Perform necessary first aid, CPR, or suctioning for short‑term emergencies.
• Handle conflicts or physical situations between students.
• Work a split shift and have reliable transportation.
• Maintain excellent communication skills and an ability to collaborate with staff, co‑workers, children, and parents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with students with special needs preferred.

Pre‑Employment Physicals

Pre‑employment physicals are required for this position and will be paid for by the District.
