Job summary

Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. is seeking a Sourcing Manager - Technical Investments and MRO (Senior Manager) to drive sourcing for maintenance, repair and operations across site operations.

You will partner with Site Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities, Utilities and EHS to ensure reliable operations while balancing cost, risk and sustainability. Lead negotiations, manage contracts, promote catalog enablement and supplier consolidation, and implement AI-enabled improvements to sourcing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, including technical services and MRO.
• Experience negotiating service agreements and managing supplier governance.

Job Description About the Role As a Sourcing Manager - Technical Investments and MRO (Senior Manager), you will play a key role in delivering value across maintenance, repair, and operations categories that support site operations and business continuity. Focused on technical services, spare parts, calibration, utilities, facility services, and maintenance-related spend, this role is responsible for developing sourcing strategies that balance cost, service, risk, compliance, and sustainability objectives. Working within the procurement organization, you will partner closely with Site Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities, Utilities, Environmental Health and Safety, and operational procurement teams to support reliable operations across sites. Through strong supplier management, commercial leadership, and category expertise, you will help drive spend consolidation, improve buying channels, optimize supplier performance, and strengthen supply resilience across a high-volume, site-driven portfolio.

How You Will Contribute

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for technical services, maintenance, repair, and operations categories aligned with business priorities.
• Lead supplier negotiations and contract management activities to secure value, manage risk, and improve service performance.
• Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities, Utilities, and Environmental Health and Safety teams to align sourcing decisions with operational requirements.
• Drive supplier consolidation and channel optimization through catalog enablement, supplier rationalization, and demand management initiatives.
• Manage supplier performance and governance across technical services and maintenance-related categories.
• Implement inventory and supply models that improve material availability while reducing stock and working capital requirements.
• Identify and mitigate supply and operational risks through contingency planning and supplier management strategies.
• Promote process excellence through standardized sourcing practices and digital and AI-enabled improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, including responsibility for technical services, maintenance, repair, operations, facilities, utilities, or related indirect spend categories.
• Experience sourcing maintenance services, spare parts, calibration services, facility management services, utilities support, cleaning services, pest control services, and maintenance-related contracts.
• Strong knowledge of high-volume spend management, supplier consolidation, catalog and punch-out solutions, purchasing channel strategies, and demand management practices.
• Experience negotiating service agreements, including labor rates, service-level agreements, response-time commitments, call-out charges, parts mark-up structures, and service rate cards.
• Understanding of integrated supply, vendor-managed inventory, consignment models, and maintenance planning principles.
• Experience partnering with engineering, maintenance, and environmental health and safety teams on contractor management, work authorization requirements, and safety compliance expectations.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, supplier governance, analytical, and communication skills, with proficiency in SAP Ariba or similar e-sourcing tools, Microsoft Office applications, generative AI tools, and fluent written and spoken English.

Base Salary Range: zł267,400.00 - zł367,730.00 The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
