Job summary

Chain IQ Group AG is seeking a proactive sourcing professional to deliver value-add services across the indirect spend portfolio, with a focus on Logistics.

You will lead end-to-end sourcing projects, build strong supplier relationships, and influence senior stakeholders while negotiating favorable terms and contracts for global clients.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management or equal.
• Proven experience in sourcing process; logistics experience is a big plus.
• English on B2/C1 level; German or French is a big advantage.
• Experienced negotiator with excellent communication skills.
• Proactive deal execution and ability to manage deals end to end.
• Client/stakeholder focus within corporate environments with the gravitas to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience in contract negotiations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned sourcing initiatives, from routine renewals to strategic purchases.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Conduct tenders and evaluate across cross-functional teams to determine supplier selection.
• Understand business requirements and structure deals accordingly.
• Negotiate deals to achieve optimal terms including e-auctions.
• Draft contracts based on standard terms and conditions.
• Lead cross-functional deal teams and liaise with senior stakeholders.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of the function is to deliver value-add sourcing services to Clients, in a structured, professional and consistent manner. The scope of the role relates to the indirect spend of clients across Logistics Category.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a dynamic, highly client-focused individuals willing to share energy and passion with our team members and customers. Successful person will be responsible for delivering sourcing initiatives covering the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle across global markets. The individual will be responsible for:

• Leading assigned sourcing initiatives, which vary in terms of scope and scale from routine renewals to strategic purchases.
• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Conducting tenders and managing the evaluation across a cross-functional team to determine supplier selection.
• Understanding business requirements and structuring deals to meet those requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sourcing process, Logistics will be a huge advantage.
• English on B2/C1 level, German / French will be huge advantage.
• Experienced negotiator and excellent communication skills.
• Proactive approach for deal execution, manage deals end to end on their own.
• Client/stakeholder focus within the corporate environment with the gravitas to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience in contract negotiations.
