Job summary

Philip Morris International is seeking a Solution Architect to design Data & Analytics solutions supporting core business functions. You will collaborate with IT, engineering, and business teams to ensure scalable, compliant data architectures aligned with PMI standards.

The role emphasizes AI trends, responsible AI, and governance, with opportunities to impact data products across B2B/B2C, Ops & Product, and Corporate domains. Relocation is not offered; legal right to work in Poland is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in solution architecture, systems design, or a related role.
  • Firsthand experience with architecture frameworks, system integration, and application development with focus on data processing.
  • Familiarity with common integration patterns for data exchange.
  • Working knowledge on Snowflake, AWS, Matillion, Power BI; NoSQL databases (Graph, Vector, Key-Value), DBT.
  • AI knowledge in R Studio, R Shiny, AWS Bedrock, Claude, and traditional AIML.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse and assess the organization’s business requirements, processes, and challenges.
  • Design comprehensive solutions that align with business goals and reuse Data Platform capabilities if possible.
  • Document solution architecture ensuring alignment with overall IT strategy.
  • Collaborate with IT, Engineering, InfoSec, Domain Architects, and Business teams to help product teams pass required gates and approvals.
  • Be ready to own and drive solution architecture for capabilities (data and analytical) that support assigned business domain/function and are reusable.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology & AI trends, tools, and best practices, and recommend improvements to the organization’s technology landscape.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on solution architecture practices and policies.
  • Knowledge of AI augmentation and responsible AI guidelines to solution design

For our Data & Analytics Platform and Solutions team, we are currently seeking a Solution Architect to drive design of capabilities and governance to support our business functions.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing data solutions that are compliant with PMI standards.

Job Summary

Solution Architect to join our growing team, responsible for designing Data & Analytics solutions to support one of key business functions (B2B/B2C, Ops & Product, Corporate,). Will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address business needs, ensuring the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of implemented solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in solution architecture, systems design, engineering, or a related role.
  • Firsthand experience with architecture frameworks, system integration, and application development with focus on data processing.
  • Familiarity with common integration patterns for data exchange
  • Working knowledge on one or more of listed technologies: Snowflake, AWS, Matillion, Power BI additional advantage on NoSQL databases (Graph, Vector, Key-Value stores, geospatial), DBT
  • AI knowledge in one or more :R studio , R shiny, AWS bedrock , Claude and traditional AIML
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications in solution architecture (e.g. AWS Practitioner AWS, Associate Snowflake (Architect), or other abovementioned technologies
  • Experience with cloud architecture and responsible AI
  • Exceptionally effective communication skills and strong ability to engage at diverse levels in the organization.
  • Work with business and other Data &Analytics stakeholders to translate their needs into architecture strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather technical realities and map this to the business need.
  • Jira /Lean ix and Confluence knowledge
  • Highly collaborative mindset with curiosity, creativity, and willingness to embrace innovative ideas, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Fluent in spoken English.
