As a Software Tester, you’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Poland.

About Your Future Role

In this position, you will:

• Planning functional tests – independently preparing test plans based on documentation, acceptance criteria, and discussions with the development team and Product Owner.
• Estimating test scope – determining the effort required to test individual functionalities within a sprint or project.
• Designing test cases – creating and updating manual test cases for user interfaces (UI) and API services (REST/SOAP).
• Executing manual tests – performing tests according to test cases, including regression tests, smoke tests, and exploratory testing.
• API testing – executing REST and SOAP requests using tools such as Postman, SoapUI; analyzing responses, statuses, and errors.
• Creating and managing test data – preparing input data and the necessary environmental conditions for testing.
• Reporting bugs and test results – logging bugs in tools such as Jira, verifying fixes after implementation, and tracking issue statuses.
• Cooperating with the Scrum team – active participation in daily stand-ups, refinements, sprint reviews, and retrospectives; reporting quality risks and proposing improvements.
• Supporting the development team in quality matters – sharing testing knowledge, consulting on edge cases, unit and integration testing.
• Building a quality culture within the team – suggesting improvements in testing processes, documentation, automation, or defect management.
• Participating in cross-team testing – collaborating on end-to-end testing when integrations with other systems or teams are involved.
• Documenting tests and knowledge – maintaining test documentation in tools like Confluence and keeping test cases up to date.

Essential Qualifications

• Experience testing web applications and APIs (REST, SOAP).
• Proven experience in planning and executing functional tests (including estimation, test plans, and reporting).
• Exploratory testing skills.
• Familiarity with the browser developer console.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum).
• Ability to write SQL queries (min. 2/5 level).
• Advanced knowledge of REST API (4/5 level).
• Familiarity with Git version control system (min. 2/5 level).
• Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems (min. 2/5 level).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Independence and good work organization.
• English language skills sufficient for smooth communication and working with technical documentation.

Nice to Have

• Experience with API testing tools: Postman, SoapUI, Insomnia, or similar.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence.
