Sabre Corporation in Kraków is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to design and build backend services for NDC distribution, emphasizing performance, reliability, and cloud-native architecture.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in modern Java.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug moderately complex to complex software solutions under general supervision, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Contribute to achieving project goals with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and continuous improvement of software deliverables.
• Design and implement reusable components and, where appropriate, build prototype applications to validate technical approaches and solutions.
• Research, evaluate, and apply best practices, emerging technologies, and modern development tools to enhance product capabilities and engineering efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional technical teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Work with Product and Business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including design specifications, architecture diagrams, and implementation details.
• Support Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) initiatives by contributing to the improvement of CI/CD pipelines, system observability, and overall platform stability.

Role and Responsibilities
