Job description

The client is a global leader in business transformation and management through the use of technology.

Responsibilities:

• customize and adapt Windows application installations based on specific client requirements, ensuring smooth deployment in enterprise environments,
• develop and maintain installation and configuration scripts using PowerShell and AppDeploymentToolkit to automate software delivery,
• perform quality assurance testing of prepared software packages to verify functionality, stability, and compliance with organizational standards,
• troubleshoot and resolve software installation, configuration, and runtime issues, collaborating with other IT teams where necessary,
• create and transform MSI packages using industry-standard tools (InstallShield, Orca, InstEd), and, when needed, repackage or build installers from scratch.

Requirements:

• experience with Windows software packaging,
• experience with MSI transformation tools (InstallShield, Instead, Orca),
• proficiency in PowerShell or other scripting language,
• general experience with Windows Operating Systems configuration,
• excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail,
• very good knowledge of English and German (spoken and written).
