BNY is seeking a Senior Specialist Technical Consultant II to join the Data & Analytics Solutions team in Wroclaw, Poland. Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in technology consulting, software implementation, professional services, or financial systems delivery.
  • Experience with data platforms, accounting solutions, or financial services technology implementations; Eagle is beneficial.
  • Strong hands‑on SQL skills, with the ability to write and troubleshoot queries for data analysis, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake and related data tooling is preferred.
  • Good understanding of the software delivery lifecycle, including requirements, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Experience with system configuration, data migration, testing support, and implementation delivery activities.
  • Exposure to Asset Servicing, investment operations, or accounting processes is beneficial.
  • Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to learn new platforms, tools, and product capabilities quickly.
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint; Windsurf is beneficial.

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist Technical Consultant II to join our Data & Analytics Solutions team. This role is located in Wroclaw, Poland.


In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways


  • Support the implementation of Data & Analytics products and related technical solutions for new and existing clients.

  • Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements and contribute to implementation plans, solution designs, and gap analysis.

  • Support analysis of client business processes, data flows, and operating models to help identify implementation requirements and solution impacts.

  • Document business, functional, and data requirements to support implementation activities and successful delivery.

  • Configure and support platform setup in line with client operating models, data requirements, and business needs.

  • Write, review, and optimise SQL code to support data onboarding, transformation, validation, and reconciliation, aligned with BNY’s Snowflake-native data direction.

  • Support data migration activities, including data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.

  • Execute deliverables across implementation phases, including analysis, configuration, testing, data onboarding, knowledge transfer, user acceptance testing support, parallel run support, and go‑live readiness.

  • Apply an understanding of the software delivery lifecycle, including requirements, development, testing, release management, and production readiness, to support high‑quality implementations.

  • Provide technical support and product knowledge to help clients adopt and use solutions effectively.

  • Collaborate closely with Project Management, Product Development, Support, and other cross‑functional teams to deliver implementations on time and to a high standard.

  • Use mandated tools such as SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, and modern engineering tools to document requirements, track risks and issues, and monitor delivery progress.

  • Leverage modern development and productivity tools, including Windsurf where applicable, to improve delivery efficiency, code quality, and team collaboration.

  • Build and maintain knowledge of Data & Analytics products, platform capabilities, implementation methodologies, and relevant industry practices.

  • Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes, client experience, and delivery quality.


To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following


  • 2–5 years of experience in technology consulting, software implementation, professional services, or financial systems delivery.

  • Experience working with data platforms, accounting solutions, or financial services technology implementations; experience with Eagle is beneficial.

  • Strong hands‑on SQL skills, with the ability to write and troubleshoot queries for data analysis, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.

  • Familiarity with Snowflake and related data tooling is preferred.

  • Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to learn new platforms, tools, and product capabilities quickly.

  • Experience using delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint; exposure to modern developer tools such as Windsurf is beneficial.

  • Ability to analyse problems, connect detailed technical requirements to broader business outcomes, and recommend practical solutions.

  • Understanding of core data flows and processes such as transactions, holdings, pricing, valuations, and reconciliation is beneficial.

  • Strong problem‑solving, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Self‑motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced delivery environment.
