Job summary

ARHS in Warszawa is seeking a Senior Software Architect to lead the engineering vision and shape enterprise-scale, cloud-native architectures. You will drive architecture standards across the software factory and ensure alignment with business goals.

You will mentor senior engineers, review end-to-end solutions for complex projects, and advance DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containers, orchestration, and platform engineering. Fluency in English (B2) and a Master’s in ICT are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with architecture focus.
• 5+ years in a similar enterprise-architecture role.
• Master's degree in ICT or equivalent.
• 2+ recognized certifications in Azure/DevOps or RHCA-equivalent.
• English proficiency at B2 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultations in software engineering areas and act as a trusted technical advisor.
• Design software development lifecycle and processes; review end-to-end architecture.
• Evolve engineering vision across the software factory and set standards.
• Define architecture standards, reference architectures and best practices.
• Mentor senior engineers and influence teams without direct authority.

• Provide consultations in software engineering areas
• Act as a trusted technical advisor
• Design software development lifecycle and processes
• Recommend decisions and review end-to-end software solution architecture for complex projects
• Own and evolve the engineering vision across the software factory
• Define architecture standards, reference architectures and best practices
• Ensure consistency and alignment of architectures across the enterprise
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant IT professional experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Minimum education level: Level 7 (Master's degree or equivalent) in an ICT-relevant field
• At least 2 of the following certifications
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
• Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA)
• or equivalent, internationally recognized certification
• Minimum English language proficiency: B2
• Knowledge of software architecture design for complex, distributed systems
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale and cloud-native architectures
• Strong DevSecOps knowledge, including CI/CD strategy and platform design, containers, orchestration and platform engineering concepts
• Recognized technical leader with experience influencing teams without direct authority
• Ability to define and communicate architecture vision and technical strategies
• Ability to evaluate technical risk and make high-impact decisions
• Experience in mentoring senior engineers, development leads, technical leaders and architects
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong understanding of architecture styles
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure services
• Experience modelling systems in ArchiMate notation
