Are you passionate about designing and building technology that connects the physical and digital worlds? Do you thrive on leading complex projects and mentoring other engineers, while working with cutting‑edge IoT devices?

Alarm.com is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to join our Panels Team, which develops and maintains the communication backbone that powers millions of smart home devices worldwide.

In this role, you will manage a team of developers that work on all aspects of our Security ecosystem. You will have the opportunity to manage projects that span a variety of technical areas while also managing a team of 5 software engineers, provide technical mentorship to the developers on your team, deliver projects, set project timelines, and generate work for your team. If you enjoy solving challenging problems, improving processes, and mentoring future engineering talent, we would love to talk to you.

  • Work with the latest technologies: You’ll gain exposure to a broad spectrum of IoT and SaaS technology. Our tech stack includes C#, .NET, SQL Server, Kafka, Ember.js, as well as native iOS and Android applications.
