Job summary

Google is seeking a senior software engineer in Poland to help advance Google Cloud's infrastructure and developer tooling. The role requires leadership of teams, deep experience with Java, C/C++, or Python, and a track record in distributed computing environments.

You will collaborate with product managers and other engineers to drive AI-first solutions, improve reliability, and scale engineering practices across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with general purpose languages including Java, C/C++, or Python.
• 5 years of experience in managing internal infrastructure, developer tools or distributed computing infrastructure.
• 2 years in a people management or team leadership role.

• Manage a team to navigate deep technical problem spaces.
• Lead the Infrastructure and Tooling strategy across projects.
• Apply an AI-first mindset to the solutions provided.
• Build, grow and retain top engineering talent.
