Job summary

Cisco Systems Poland sp. Z o.o. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Webex Partner Hub architecture and scale a robust ecosystem that helps partners manage customer lifecycles and services. You will drive a high-performance engineering culture across distributed teams in a hybrid Kraków setting.

The role focuses on delivering scalable, secure, data-driven capabilities, aligning technical roadmaps with business goals, and accelerating revenue growth while reducing operational friction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 3+ years in a formal leadership or management capacity.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams within a SaaS or cloud-based environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of modern web technologies, scalable API design, and cloud-native architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-functional projects and delivering high-quality software on schedule.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, mentor, and inspire diverse, distributed teams.

• Act as the Service Owner for Partner Hub, with end-to-end accountability for service health, reliability, security, operational readiness, and lifecycle management.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers focused on the Partner Hub platform.
• Drive the technical roadmap and delivery of features that enhance partner productivity and platform scalability.
• Foster an agile, high-velocity development environment while maintaining high standards for code quality and system reliability.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Champion engineering excellence, including CI/CD practices, security, and observability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience in defining and executing technical roadmaps that align with broader organizational goals.
• Ability to translate complex business strategies into clear, actionable team priorities.
• Demonstrated success in managing stakeholder relationships at the Senior Manager and Director, driving alignment across organizational boundaries to deliver high-impact outcomes.
• Experience architecting or managing the development of large-scale, distributed systems or SaaS platforms.
• Deep understanding of modern cloud-native architectures and the ability to guide teams through complex technical trade-offs.
• A strong track record of coaching and developing high-performing engineering teams.
• Experience in fostering a culture of engineering excellence, including CI/CD, security, and observability, while empowering team members through regular mentorship and clear feedback.
• Experience leading teams through organizational change or adopting new technologies (e.g., integrating AI tools into development workflows to drive automation and process efficiency).
• Prior experience in the collaboration, partner-facing portal, or B2B SaaS space is highly desirable.
