Motorola Solutions Systems Polska Sp.z.o.o in Kraków is seeking a mid‑level software engineer to join the ASTRO department. You will contribute to Java backend development with Tomcat and Hibernate, work on a web frontend, and participate in CI/CD pipelines as part of a Scrum team in a hybrid work setting.

Expect to collaborate across experienced engineers, apply AI-assisted coding, and deliver features for network management provisioning.

Competenze

• 3–5 years of experience in software development using similar technology stack.
• Knowledge (including detailed technical knowledge) of Java, Tomcat, Hibernate
• The candidate is expected to use AI-code generation on a regular basis with human and AI-assisted code review
• Knowledge of RHEL a large plus
• Knowledge of PostGreSQL a plus
• A team player is required, as work is often split into many user-stories with interaction points between one another
• The team is working in hybrid mode

Department Overview

ASTRO Department develops applications to manage the ASTRO networks using Java backend technology and web frontend. The applications are built using CI/CD pipelines and used by Customers on premise.

Job Description

The candidate will use the following technologies:

Java21 backend, web frontend. Tomcat, Hibernate.

The candidate will be a part of a team of experienced and skilled software engineers developing a Network Management Provisioning Manager application.

Our team uses Java, web frontend, Postgres, RHEL and KVM.

Basic Requirements

We expect to higher a mid-experience engineer, who will be a core part of our team. We expect the person to work mostly unsupervised in a Scrum team (with daily sync and biweekly sprint pace).

The requirements for this position are:

• 3-5 years of experience in software development using similar technology stack
• Knowledge (including detailed technical knowledge) of Java, Tomcat, Hibernate
• The candidate is expected to use AI-code generation on a regular basis with human and AI-assisted code review
• Knowledge of RHEL a large plus
