Job summary

The Splunk Metadata Catalog (MDC) team at Cisco Systems, Inc is hiring a Software Engineer in Kraków. You will contribute to design, build scalable services, and deliver high‑quality data graph solutions within Cisco's Platform architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years related experience or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Proven delivery of new services/features in cloud environments using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Strong object-oriented development in Go, C++, or Java with emphasis on quality.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to high level design for multiple features with senior engineers.
• Build reliable, scalable, high-performance applications.
• Drive Developer Owned Quality and overall product quality.
• Debug and resolve customer-reported issues with effective solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews.
• Learn, explore, and integrate new technologies into workflows.
