GL has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team of engineers responsible for building and deploying solutions to the fleet of over 650,000 connected devices installed in vehicles driving worldwide. Our Client is the leading provider of in-cab video safety and telematics.

The device software team enables real-time sensing of driving behavior and environmental conditions that assist our customers to manage the safety and efficiency of their fleet of vehicles. As an engineer on the team, you will build solutions that enable connectivity and real-time access to video recorded in the vehicle, AI triggered insights captured from live video, advanced telemetry and vehicle sensors, and integration with onboard vehicle systems.

Requirements

We are looking for experienced Embedded Software Engineers with mid to senior level into a software development team, with the following skills and experience:

• Experience with Linux user space and RTOS
• Knowledge of C++ in embedded – average level
• Knowledge of Python – basic level
• Experience with code versioning and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Gerrit)
• Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, CAN, UDS, DLT)
• Experience in automotive, aviation, medical or other highly regulated enterprise concerned Functional Safety
• Upper-intermediate English
• Good communication skills
• Ability to proactively analyze problems
• Attention to details

Good to have:

• Experience with ASPICE, ISO26262
• SW testing: debugging, fault injection
• Toolchain: CMake, GDB, Objectdump, Wireshark
• Experience with CANoe
• QNX (tracelogger, Momentics IDE for analysis)
