Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Python developer to build secure, scalable backend services and web applications for authentication platforms. You will work on OAuth/SAML integrations and contribute to production-grade RESTful APIs.

Join the Authentication Team to enhance Control Center and Linode Cloud Manager, applying OWASP Top 10 practices and modern AI-assisted tooling. On-site Kraków-based role with collaboration across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Strong Python experience with backend frameworks (Flask or FastAPI).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and production readiness.
• Experience in deploying and maintaining services in production environments.
• Familiarity with security best practices (OWASP Top 10).
• Knowledge of core internet protocols and web security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services and full-stack web apps using Python.
• Implement secure, scalable components for Akamai Control Center and Linode Cloud Manager.
• Create RESTful APIs for production use and ensure reliability.
• Apply security best practices and containerization (Docker) in deployments.
• Collaborate across teams and contribute through full project lifecycle.
