Job summary

Genetec is seeking a mid-/senior-level engineer to help modernise our ML/GenAI stack, enabling data workflows and scalable inference platforms. You’ll work with a diverse team across Poland, France and Canada to move models from experimentation to production, with a strong emphasis on reliability and data quality.

You’ll contribute to data acquisition, governance, and end-to-end deployment pipelines while collaborating with researchers and software engineers in a hybrid setup that includes three

Qualifications

• Hands-on ML/MLOps experience with MLFlow, KServe and AirFlow.
• Experience with experiment tracking tools and data labeling.
• Familiarity with model runtimes and deployment tools (Triton, OpenVINO).
• DevOps/CI/CD for ML, GitOps workflows and automated deployment strategies.
• Observability: telemetry, data drift and quality monitoring.
• Kubernetes and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Cloud scale experience and scalable services in distributed environments.
• Proficient coding in Golang or .NET with a willingness to learn the other.

Responsibilities

• Turn AI strategy into reality by modernising ML/ GenAI stack.
• Build scalable data workflows and testing platforms for datasets.
• Provide data governance, lineage tracking and versioning support.
• Develop deployment workflows, versioning and controlled rollouts.
• Enable research and experiments with reproducible runs and traces.
• Ensure secure, fast model deployment and multi-cluster scaling.
• Collaborate across Poland, France and Canada to shape AI-driven products.
• Support observability and monitoring of ML pipelines and deployments.

What your day will look like

Enable cheap ownership and evolution ofhigh-qualitydatasets

• Build andmaintainself-service data acquisition, annotation, transformation, and versioning capabilities so developers and data practitioners can move from raw data to clean, versioned datasetsquicklyand continuously.

• Facilitate data lineage tracking and data governance.

• Providetooling to buildtransformation pipelineswith integrateddataquality checks.

• Facilitateexperimentationwithdata andmodels

• Enable researchers to track their experimentsand reproduce past runs with minimal effort.

• Provide access to serviceswith compute clusters for runningmodel training pipelinesand experiments.
• Facilitatefull traceability of data, code, and artifacts across experiments anddata transformationpipelines.

Supportdeployment,scaling, and observabilityofmodels

• Design andoperatesecure, automated deployment workflows that move models from experimentation to production in minutes, not weeks.
• Implement continuous deployment pipelines withversioning and parallel deployments to ensure quality and enable rollbacks.
• Optimise runtime environments to meet latency and performance targets, supporting multi-cluster and multi-tenant scaling.

Machine Learning &MLOps

• Hands-on experience withMLFlow,KServe,AirFlow.

• Knowledge on labelling/annotation tooling

• Experience with experiment tracking tools

• Familiarity with modelruntimesand deployment (TritonInference Server,OpenVinoModel Server).

• Knowledge ofDevOps,CI/CD for ML,GitOpsworkflows, and automated deployment strategies.

Observability & Monitoring

• Proficiencyintelemetryand datadrift and quality monitoring.

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Strong skills in KubernetesandTerraformfor infrastructure automation.

• Experience withscalingservicesin cloud environments.

Programming & Automation

• Solid coding skills inat least one language,Golangor .NET, andthe motivation tolearnGolangor .NET.

Nice-to-have

• Expertise in data platforms, including batch and streaming pipelines, ideally with knowledge of Databricks, Spark, and/or Delta Lake

• Knowledge in labelling/annotation tools

• Knowledge in experiment tracking tools

• Strong understanding of data quality, data versioning, and lineage tracking.
• Knowledge oftheChampion/Contender deployment model.
