Peloton is seeking a highly accomplished backend software engineer to lead the delivery of scalable, customer-facing backend services across web, retail, and other sales channels. You will be a hands-on technical lead on a team building disjoint backend platforms for internal and external users.

You will guide architectural decisions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and foster a culture of growth and learning while delivering high-impact initiatives in an Agile environment.

Competenze

• 6+ years software development experience with leadership over delivery of high impact projects.
• Experience with Java, Kotlin, Python or similar languages.
• Experience building and scaling out RESTful microservices.
• Experience with Kafka and Amazon SQS.
• Familiarity with data stores like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in Unit Testing/Test Driven Development.
• Experience in cloud infrastructure like AWS/GCP.
• Experience with mentoring junior engineers.
• Working knowledge of GraphQL.
• Experience with DataDog or similar monitoring tools.
• Strong desire to learn and mentor engineers, helping them achieve their highest potential.
• An agile mindset that embraces iterative design.
• Experience with end to end feature ownership and working with cross-functional partners.

You will be on the team that creates and expands Peloton’s e-commerce presence on the web, retail and other sales channels. You will be a hands-on technical lead on the team that will be working to build highly scalable and disjoint backend platforms and services for our users, both internal and external.
