Job summary

Talanto is seeking a Software Engineer (C++ with FX Domain Experience) to join a long-term project with a Swiss investment bank in Kraków. The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days in the office.

You will work on multi-threaded FX systems, contribute to performance, and handle production support, incident management, and DevOps practices. Collaboration spans international teams, with exposure to IBM MQ, Kafka, and SQL databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience with multi-threaded C++ in FX domains is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures and system design.
• Experience with SQL databases (MS SQL, Sybase, Oracle) and messaging systems (IBM MQ, Kafka).
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices; GitLab preferred.
• Ability to provide production support (L3) and incident management.

We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Software Engineer (C++ with FX Domain Experience) to join a long-term project with a major international Swiss investment bank operating in the financial sector.

Location: Kraków
Hybrid model: 3 days per week from the office

Required Skills and Experience:

Multi-threading

Experience within FX trading, FX lifecycle, or risk management systems

Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system design

Experience with MS SQL, Sybase, or Oracle

Messaging technologies such as IBM MQ or Kafka

CI/CD and DevOps practices (GitLab preferred)
