Volkswagen Financial Services (Poland) in Warsaw is looking for a junior AI Engineer to join a 40-person team turning ideas into scalable data and AI products. You will build cloud-based AI solutions, develop Python backend services, and contribute to secure, production-ready systems.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Strong Python skills for backend or data applications.
• Basic knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, and Git.
• Understanding of testing practices and secure development.
• Good English and Polish communication and team mindset.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate cloud-based AI solutions.
• Develop backend services and data pipelines in Python.
• Work with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC (Terraform, CDK).
• Support scalable, production-ready AI systems and monitor performance.
• Contribute to code quality through testing, reviews, and best practices.

Your responsibilities:

• Build and operate cloud-based AI solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP),
• Develop backend services and data pipelines in Python,
• Work with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK, etc.),
• Support scalable, production-ready AI systems and monitor their performance,
• Contribute to code quality through testing, reviews, and best practices,
• Apply security standards and data protection principles (e.g., GDPR).
