Job summary

Software Mind seeks an experienced Web Developer to join the External Web team responsible for architecture, creation, and ongoing enhancements of the client-facing web platform. This role develops new components and refactors existing ones to meet business goals.

You will estimate effort with the team, write high-quality code, own tasks, drive delivery, and collaborate with business users and analysts to refine requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with C# and React in a professional setting.
• Strong SQL skills and database design experience.
• Solid understanding of containerised environments (Kubernetes/Docker).
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and modern design/development principles (OOP/DRY/SOLID/YAGNI).
• Proficient in Git and full development life cycle including requirements analysis.

Responsibilities

Project – the aim you’ll have

An experienced Web Developer is required to join our External Web team who are responsible for the architecture, creation and on-going enhancements to the digital window through which the world views the Client. The main responsibility of this role will be to both, develop new system components required to deliver the goals of the External web team, as well as a modifying existing components.

Role – how you’ll contribute

Will be responsible for:

• Working with the team, Principal, Delivery Lead and Project Manager to accurately estimate effort required to deliver solutions
• Writing high quality code, adhering to agreed standards, quickly, with attention to detail
• Taking full ownership for assigned tasks
• Actively driving delivery of tasks: getting required answers, coordinating people to get what is needed
• Actively engaging with members of the delivery team, scrutinising solutions, contributing ideas etc.
• Curating technical documentation
