Job summary

Sii Poland is hiring a Senior Software Architect to drive Enterprise Architecture, Data Architecture, and data governance initiatives. You will craft reference models, standards, and guidance while coding automation to streamline metadata collection across environments.

You will partner with experts to define architecture patterns, enable data products, and apply AI-assisted workflows for automation and quality checks.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise, capability, or data architecture.
• Strong expertise in Data Mesh, data governance, and data products.
• Solid understanding of APIs and integration patterns.
• Hands-on scripting in Python and Bash for automation; fluent English; Poland residency.

Responsibilities

• Curate technical capabilities and improve the Reference Architecture Framework content.
• Describe architecture, services, and capabilities for platform offerings with a shared vocabulary.
• Support enterprise reuse by aligning platform descriptions and improving discoverability.
• Automate architecture information management with reusable scripts and AI-assisted workflows.
• Develop practical guidance by turning recurring questions into reference patterns and checks.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Software Architect to join a project focused on Enterprise Architecture, Data Architecture, and data governance. In this role, you will help build a consistent reference architecture and bring together distributed architectural knowledge across a complex enterprise environment.

You will work closely with technical experts to define clear models, standards, and architectural guidance, while also using your hands‑on scripting and automation skills to streamline the collection and validation of technology metadata. The role also involves working with modern data concepts such as Data Mesh and Data Governance, as well as API and integration patterns, with opportunities to leverage AI‑powered tools.

Your tasks

• Curating technical capabilities and improving the Reference Architecture Framework (RAF) content by reviewing and enhancing capability definitions, classifications, and relationships
• Collaborating with platform teams to represent their offerings in the RAF, describing architecture, services, and capabilities using a shared vocabulary
• Supporting enterprise reuse initiatives by aligning platform and service descriptions and making existing capabilities easier to discover
• Automating architecture information management through the development of reusable scripts and AI‑assisted workflows to maintain accurate information across sources
• Developing practical guidance by transforming recurring architecture and API integration questions into reference patterns and automated checks

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise, capability, or data architecture
• Strong expertise in Data Mesh, data governance, and data products
• Solid understanding of APIs and integration patterns
• Hands‑on skills in Python and Bash Shell for automation
• Experience with reference architectures and architecture repositories
• Fluent English and residency in Poland

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI‑assisted automation techniques
