Role of a Social Care Worker

Social Care Workers play a key supportive and advocative role. They support individuals in all aspects of their lives, focusing on abilities, promoting independence, and developing skills. Tasks include assisting with daily activities in the person's home or a day service setting, supporting the development of personal plans, and helping individuals make informed choices. They encourage community participation, seek new experiences, and support individuals to fulfill their potential.
