Job summary

SHEIN is seeking a SOC Security Operations Engineer to join our global security team. You will monitor, detect, investigate and respond to threats across IT and business systems to maintain a strong 24/7 security posture.

You will help build and improve detection and response capabilities, contribute to roadmaps and playbooks, and collaborate with cross-regional teams to ensure timely incident handling and risk remediation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Cyber security, Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in security operations (SOC), incident response or application security.
• Solid understanding of attack techniques and SOC skills in intrusion detection, malware analysis, log analysis and threat hunting.
• Proficiency in Python and scripting for security detections and automation.
• Good English or Chinese reading, writing and communication; able to collaborate across regions.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day SOC operations, ensuring 24/7 monitoring, alerting, response and post-incident reviews.
• Develop and maintain detection rules, SOPs and remediation workflows; drive operational maturity.
• Monitor and triage security alerts focusing on intrusions, malware, anomalous logins, and data exfiltration.
• Conduct incident response activities including attack-chain reconstruction, impact analysis and root-cause determination.
• Collaborate with security and IT teams to improve security postures and metrics.
