Job summary

DXC Technology, a global IT services company, seeks a Snowflake Data Engineer to design and maintain production‑grade ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, and Python. You will build data models with dbt and optimize warehouse performance while collaborating with German business teams.

We require 3–5 years of experience, strong Snowflake expertise, and German language skills (minimum B2). Hybrid work model with offices in Poland is available.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of data engineering experience with Snowflake as a data warehouse.
• Hands‑on Snowflake development: databases, schemas, stages, streams/tasks, views and access management.
• Strong SQL, efficient transformations, and reusable data models.
• Experience building production ETL/ELT pipelines with orchestration tools.
• Deep dbt experience: development, testing and deployment.
• Python for data processing and automation.
• Knowledge of Data Lake/Lakehouse concepts and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• German language at least B2 level and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production‑grade ETL/ELT pipelines in Snowflake using SQL and Python.
• Build data models and dbt transformations for reporting and analytics.
• Optimize queries and Snowflake performance; manage databases, schemas, and access.
• Integrate Snowflake pipelines with cloud storage and services for data lakehouse solutions.
• Collaborate with teams,_write tests, deploy changes using CI/CD, and document work.
• Communicate requirements and deliver solutions to German‑speaking stakeholders.
