Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Data Engineer to drive large-scale data platform migrations to Snowflake and ensure reliable Airflow workflows.

You will implement migration of datasets, adapt pipelines, and maintain data quality across a modern data lake architecture. The role requires 3+ years of Python development, advanced SQL skills, Snowflake modeling, Airflow expertise, and experience with Iceberg/Parquet formats.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Python development.
• Advanced SQL with joins/CTEs/window functions.
• Snowflake data modeling expertise.
• Apache Airflow — pipelines in Airflow and Python.
• Experience with Iceberg and Parquet formats.
• AWS experience, especially S3.
• Testing strategy experience with debugging.
• At least 2 years experience with large-scale datasets including Airflow and Spark.
• Overlap until 12 PM Pacific Time.

Responsibilities

• Work within data engineering to support large-scale modernization.
• Migrate ~1,000 datasets to Snowflake.
• Adapt pipelines to Snowflake as defined by internal team.
• Ensure data quality and reliability during migration.
• Support Airflow scheduling/monitoring.
• Execute migrations including Airflow 2→3 and Iceberg move.
• Help accelerate migration milestones through Mar 2027.
