Job summary
AgileEngine, LLC. seeks a Data Engineer to execute large-scale data platform migrations to Snowflake and support reliable Airflow workflows. You will migrate ~1,000 datasets and adapt pipelines to Snowflake, ensuring data quality throughout the process as part of a broader modernization effort.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
- Advanced SQL with complex joins, CTEs, window functions and performance tuning.
- Snowflake data modeling expertise.
- Apache Airflow experience for pipelines in Python.
- Iceberg and Parquet data formats knowledge.
- AWS experience, particularly S3 for data lakes.
- Experience with large-scale datasets, Airflow and Spark (2+ years).
- Overlap with Pacific Time until 12 PM.
Responsibilities
- Work embedded within the data engineering function to support modernization.
- Execute migration of ~1,000 datasets to Snowflake.
- Adapt existing pipelines to Snowflake following defined architecture.
- Ensure data quality and reliability throughout migration.
- Support workflow scheduling and monitoring in Apache Airflow 3.
- Execute migrations including Airflow 2 to 3 and Iceberg move.
- Help accelerate migration initiatives to be completed by March 2027.
