Job summary

ZS Poland is seeking a Snowflake Cortex Engineer to design and build AI-powered analytics applications on Snowflake, acting as a Cortex-first specialist for a key client engagement in Poland. You will deploy Snowflake Agents, leverage Cortex Analyst and Cortex Search, and collaborate with data scientists, engineers and stakeholders to deliver secure, enterprise-ready GenAI solutions.

Role Description

A Snowflake Cortex Engineer in Digital & Technology Solutions will design and build AI‑powered analytics applications natively on Snowflake, acting as the hands‑on, Cortex‑first specialist supporting a key client engagement in Poland. You will build and deploy Snowflake Agents and AI‑powered applications, using Cortex Analyst and Cortex Search to enable natural‑language querying, insight generation and agentic workflows over governed data. You will design and maintain robust Semantic Models / Semantic Views that power accurate, trusted text‑to‑SQL and retrieval, leveraging the full breadth of Cortex capabilities to turn complex client questions into scalable, self‑service insight. Working closely with data scientists, engineers and client stakeholders, you will apply strong Python and SQL skills to deliver GenAI and LLM‑based solutions that are secure, performant and enterprise‑ready. As a Level 3 Consultant, you will own delivery of your workstream end to end and set a high technical bar for how ZS builds on Snowflake. This is a specialist hire that requires proven, production‑grade Snowflake implementation experience – candidates without Snowflake experience will not be considered.

What you’ll bring

• Proven, hands‑on Snowflake implementation experience on production engagements – candidates with no Snowflake experience will not be considered (or related, demonstrable delivery).
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake Cortex – building AI‑powered applications natively on Snowflake.
• Experience with Cortex Analyst and Cortex Search to enable natural‑language querying, insight generation and retrieval over governed data.
• Experience building and deploying Snowflake Agents and agentic workflows.
• Strong understanding of Semantic Models / Semantic Views to power accurate text‑to‑SQL and trusted retrieval.
• Strong Python and SQL skills for building, automating and optimising data and AI solutions.
• Experience with GenAI / LLM‑based solutions and designing enterprise analytics and insight‑generation solutions is highly desirable.
• Experience working in regulated industries such as Life Sciences (pharma, biotech, healthcare) is a plus.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or comparable practical experience.
