Job summary

A company in industrial automation is seeking an SMT Process Engineer in Opole, Poland. This role involves creating pick & place programs, maintaining inspection equipment, and developing solder paste inspection programs. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant engineering experience and a degree in a technical field. Proficiency in English and/or German at a communicative level is also required. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an engineering role related to the SMT process.
• Ability to create and optimize pick & place programs.
• Experience in calibration and diagnostics of vision systems.

Responsibilities

• Creating and implementing pick & place programs.
• Calibrating and maintaining inspection and control equipment.
• Developing solder paste inspection (SPI) programs, analyzing results, and implementing corrective actions.
• Monitoring corrective and improvement activities.
• Preparing technical documentation.
• Collaborating with other departments (including New Product Introduction, R&D, Production).

Skills

Creating and optimizing pick & place programs

Calibrating and maintaining inspection and control equipment

Experience in SPI data analysis

Knowledge of reflow soldering processes

English language skills (B1)

German language skills (B1)

Education

University degree in Automation & Robotics, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related
