Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking an SME Engineer for Smart Factory dashboards in Szczecin. You will own analytics from machine data to executive dashboards, driving efficiency and quality across manufacturing operations.

You will design dashboards, integrate MES/SAP data, build ETL pipelines, and collaborate with global stakeholders to scale data solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 5–10+ years of experience in BI, smart factory, or digital manufacturing environments.
• Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, SQL, and data modeling.
• Experience with MES, ERP (SAP), and industrial data sources (IIoT, SCADA).
• Knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or similar for data solutions.
• Experience in global, cross-functional environments with manufacturing exposure.

Responsibilities

• Act as global SME for Smart Factory dashboards and KPI standardization.
• Design and develop Power BI / Tableau / ThingWorx dashboards for manufacturing performance.
• Integrate data from MES, ERP (SAP), IIoT platforms, and shopfloor systems.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines, data models, and analytics layers.
• Enable real-time monitoring of production, quality, and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
• Support governance, adoption, and continuous improvement of digital manufacturing solutions.

Your daily tasks
