ALTEN Polska is seeking a Lead SME - Cryptography to deliver and support cryptographic solutions globally. You will act as SME for CLM processes, manage SSH/TLS remediation, and lead change with vendors and internal teams.

Key requirements include Venafi platform experience, Python scripting, SQL skills, and strong documentation. The role offers a full-time contract with potential for B2B and opportunities to relocate within ALTEN Polska branches.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for CLM Product and cryptographic services.
• Identify process gaps and propose improvements.
• Assess risk and mitigate change impacts.
• Lead change implementation with vendors and teams.
• Prepare reports from multiple sources to track progress.
• First line escalation for team members and end users.
• Support cryptography solutions for SSH/TLS queries.
• Assist with cryptography security documentation.
• Provide cryptography consultancy to internal customers globally.
• Process requests in Service Now within SLA.

Job description

Lead SME - Cryptography will be part of the Service Delivery - Cryptography team, focused on delivering and supporting cryptographic solutions and consultations globally. The role covers processes around TLS/SSL certificates, SSH keys, and cryptographic projects.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with Global team members – as SME for CLM Product and processes held by Cryptographic services
• Identify gaps in processes and elevate them accordingly
• Identify risks of changes and propose mitigation
• Lead the process of change implementation closely working with Vendors’ support and Global Internal teams
• Work on continuous data enhancement quality
• Prepare reports from multiple sources to identify problems or track progress
• Act as first line of escalation for other team members
• Work with end users to help build solutions for non-standard queries
• Respond in timely manner on urgent production issues that require Cryptographic services assistance
• Engage with business functions to help them understand the SSH/TLS key remediation process and support progress
• Implement Change Management control in support of tasks
• Troubleshoot certificates’ generation problems and connection issues between Venafi TPP and target servers
• Review solution documentation to provide cryptography security assurance services
• Provide cryptography consultancy services to internal customers globally
• Process requests in Service Now within agreed SLA
• Support team members

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE REQUIRE:

• Previous experience with Venafi platform or TLS/SSH management process is required
• Customer/stakeholder focus. Ability to build strong relationships with Internal/External Key stakeholders, cross functional IT and global/local IT teams
• Analytical skills
• Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure
• Operational effectiveness - delivers solutions that align to approved design patterns and security, risk and regulatory standards
• Good understanding on IT Infrastructure technical platforms / technologies
• A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change
• Understanding of SSH/SSL functionality and usage
• Good understanding of scripting with Python
• Good understanding of SQL / MySQL skills
• Strong documentation skills
