Job summary

Capgemini Engineering seeks a Smart Signal BP Testing Specialist to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance of Smart Signal Blueprints across Cloud and On‑Premises environments. You will design comprehensive test plans, work with time-series data, and develop Python scripts to drive testing and automation, delivering actionable insights to global clients.

The role requires 5+ years in software testing, strong Python skills, and preferred knowledge of Smart Signal and APM environments.

• Proficient in Python (v3.6+).
• Experience with time-series data and data-heavy workflows.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills, able to translate findings for diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Smart Signal platforms and APM environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans for Smart Signal Blueprints to ensure accurate logic paths.
• Validate time-series data and ensure data integrity across Cloud and On‑ Premises platforms.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts to support testing and automation.
• Perform root-cause analyses on failing test scenarios and communicate insights.
• Apply QA methodologies to improve testing coverage, quality, and efficiency.

Your role

As a Smart Signal BP Testing Specialist at Capgemini Engineering, you will be at the heart of ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of Smart Signal Blueprints. Working within a collaborative and innovative environment, you will have the opportunity to tackle complex technical challenges, work with cutting‑edge technologies, and make a tangible impact for our global clients across industries.

Your tasks

• Designing and executing comprehensive test plans and validation strategies for end-to-end Blueprint processes in Smart Signal, ensuring logic paths between anomaly alerts and business workflows function accurately and reliably.
• Working hands‑on with time‑series data to validate data‑heavy processes, ensuring data integrity and consistency across Smart Signal platforms, both Cloud and On‑Premises.
• Developing and maintaining robust Python (v3.6+) scripts to support testing, automation, and validation activities across the Smart Signal environment.
• Proactively debugging complex issues and conducting deep‑dive root‑cause analyses on failing test scenarios, translating technical findings into clear, actionable insights and performance improvements.
• Applying strong QA methodologies and iterative test execution practices to continuously improve testing coverage, quality, and efficiency across Blueprint validation cycles.

Your profile

• Solid experience (5+ years) in software testing or quality assurance, with a strong grasp of QA methodologies, test plan design, and iterative execution processes.
• Proven hands‑on proficiency in Python (v3.6+), with the ability to write, maintain, and optimise scripts for testing and automation purposes.
• Demonstrated experience working with time‑series data and validating complex, data‑intensive workflows and processes.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills, with a proven ability to investigate complex technical issues, identify root causes, and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Smart Signal platforms (Cloud and/or On‑Premises) and APM (Asset Performance Management) environments is a strong advantage.
