Job summary

Siemens Energy is hiring a Site Quality Manager (f/m/d) for the Wrocław site to lead on-site quality management across construction, erection and commissioning activities. You will oversee QA/QC, ensure adherence to field quality plans and coordinate with consortium members and third party organizations on quality issues.

The role requires welding technology certification and NDT Level 2, with strong English and Polish communication and a proven track record in on-site QA.

• Experience in on-site quality management for construction, erection and commissioning.
• Knowledge of QA/QC processes and compliance with field quality plans and procedures.
• Fluent English and Polish; strong communication at site level.

A Snapshot of Your Day

The Site Quality Manager advises and supports Site Management in its responsibility for quality management, the quality plan and project-specific quality issues as well as quality controls applied to on-site construction, field erection and commissioning activities of all engineering disciplines.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Implementation of the Quality Management System on site
• Reporting on QA / QC activities to the General Site Manager
• Coordination with consortium members at the project site with respect to QA/QC
• Cooperation with third party organizations in acceptance testing (e.g. pressure test)
• Monitoring and advising sub-contractors and consortium members for compliance with quality management systems requirements as per released field quality plans and procedures
• Monitoring performance of weld inspections and nondestructive examinations corresponding with released project specific field quality plans
• Tracking of deviations / nonconformance’s detected
• Support in administration of Corrective Action Reports (CAR) and Non Conformance Reports (NCR)
• Performing Welder Skill Test based on Siemens Energy requirements
• Monitoring of Pre-Heating-, Welding and Heat Treatment Activities
• Evaluation of X-Rays
• Supporting the pressure testing activities incl. Final Inspection / Line Walkdown
• Closing out work of open point before pressure testing
• Supporting, coordinating and driving compilation of technical site documentation.
• Coordinating and monitoring document controlling and its filing within subcontractor system

What You Bring

• Welding technology, i.e. International Welding Engineer/ Technician, or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI 3.2)
• Non-destructive testing methods Level 2 (ISO 9712, ASNT-TC-1A), i.e. VT, PT/MT, RI etc.
• Good English and Polish speaking and writing
