Job summary

LyondellBasell Industries Gniewkowo is seeking a Production Manager to ensure safe, efficient operations at the Gniewkowo site. You will lead the production team, drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance, and collaborate across departments to meet business objectives.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will develop staff, manage budgets, oversee CAPEX projects, monitor KPIs, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize yields and resource use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Engineering/Production Technology or related field.
• At least 5 years in a manufacturing leadership role.
• Experience in project management and driving operational or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with ability to coach and develop teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; capable in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management across functions.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Drive day-to-day production operations to meet targets, service levels, and on-time delivery.
• Oversee shop-floor activities and optimize equipment utilization and capacity.
• Review processes and materials flows; implement improvements for efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with Quality teams to meet company standards and customer expectations.
• Support CAPEX projects and operational excellence initiatives.
• Develop and monitor production KPIs and provide regular reports to management.
• Coordinate budgeting with the Financial Controller and manage costs.
