STATE STREET CORPORATION is seeking a Senior Fund Administrator for the IAIS Simcorp team in Kraków. You will monitor accounting tasks, ensure timely reporting, and review others’ work to deliver high-quality service to clients and internal stakeholders.

The role requires fund administration knowledge, Excel and Outlook skills, and strong communication in English with intermediate German. A minimum 12 months’ experience and an in-office presence is expected.

Qualifications

• Understanding of fund administration is required.
• PC literate with Excel proficiency.
• MS Outlook knowledge at a competent level.
• Good written and verbal communication in English; intermediate German.
• Experience in fund administration is preferred (12 months+).
• Minimum of 3 days per week in office.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous fund administration processing and controlling tasks and reporting duties.
• Review fund components and checklists; verify others' work.
• Liaise with internal clients and external counterparties for inputs and issue resolution.
• Assist Team Manager to ensure procedures and controls are followed.
• Identify control gaps and provide timely responses to inquiries.
• Keep managers informed of daily progress; maintain team communication.
• Provide direction and training to staff, including new hires.
• Take responsibility for personal development and ad-hoc duties.

Purpose Of Role

Purpose Of Role: The purpose of Investment Administration Insourcing Services (IAIS) Simcorp Senior Fund Administrator role is: Monitoring all accounting related functions on funds assigned to the Team and ensuring they are reported accurately and on time to the necessary parties Completing assigned tasks, as well as verifying and reviewing the work performed by other Senior Fund Administrators and Fund Administrators Delivering quality service to assigned clients and excellent communication with internal clients and other supporting departments

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous fund administration processing and controlling tasks as well as reporting and administrative duties
• Review fund components and complete the reviewers’ checklist
• Review results of other fund administrators work
• Liaise with internal clients, external counterparties and support other departments for the purpose of obtaining key inputs to service delivery, resolving errors and discrepancies
• Assist Team Manager in ensuring that departmental procedures and controls are adhered to.
• Identify control gaps
• Provide timely and professional responses to all inquiries
• Keep Team Manager informed as to the daily work progress and status of requests
• Keep proper communication with other team members.
• Address all instances of misconduct in this area and act as a role model in communication chain
• Demonstrate good time organizational skills in order to meet deadlines
• Provide direction and training to staff, including new hires, in the course of their day-to-day work, train less experienced staff in fund and bank procedures and processes, and provide guidance and an adequate source of help for questions
• Take responsibility for own personal development and training, and actively look for such opportunities
• Act on ad-hoc duties as assigned

Previous Level Of Experience: Recommended 12 months + experience in fund administration or equivalent area

Minimum Salary: zł68,004 Annual The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ. Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees. In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
