Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Signal Processing & Data Analysis Specialist to join our Data Science team in Warsaw, Poland. You will guide migration, engineering, and clinical teams to ensure clear algorithm behavior and output expectations.

You will analyze large CSV datasets, identify deviations and edge cases, and help design validation frameworks with defined tolerance thresholds and acceptance criteria. Strong Python skills and a PhD are required.

Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years validating algorithms or software and building CSV reconciliation workflows.
• Solid background in digital signal processing and time-series analysis.
• Proficient in Python with SciPy/NumPy/pandas.
• Excellent English and residency in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on signal processing to migration, engineering, and clinical teams, ensuring a shared understanding of algorithm behavior and expected output characteristics.
• Analyze datasets to identify deviations, edge cases, and anomalies using appropriate statistical methods.
• Document existing signal processing algorithms to support validation and cross-team knowledge transfer.
• Contribute to validation framework design with tolerance thresholds and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and execute CSV-based comparison workflows to verify output consistency.
• Collaborate with data migration specialists and engineers to resolve data-integrity issues and document deviations.
