Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Shift Engineer to join our dynamic team in Krakow and ensure the seamless operation of our systems and equipment. In this role, you will immerse yourself in our engineering processes and lead monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting machinery to guarantee optimal performance and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to identify areas for improvement, implement solutions, and maintain high safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance during gaming operations
• Respond promptly to any technical issues that may arise during shifts
• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
• Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately

Required skills

• Technical background
• Basic knowledge of photo/video equipment/light
• Knowledge of the English language at the A2+ level

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Ukrainian language
• Programming basic skills
• Experience in cabling
• Previous experience in live stage art or gaming

You will do

• Control the studio‑room process
• Troubleshooting
• Creating daily reports on the status of the studio and its components (hardware and software)
• Assemble equipment (lighting, video, sound, networking, hardware, software)
• Cabling throughout the building, installation of physical data transmission systems (video infrastructure, network infrastructure, and ancillary work on the power infrastructure)
• Carrying out minor hardware repairs (soldering, firmware updates, configuration)
• Participate in the unloading and loading of necessary equipment as required
• Assistance with small construction jobs
