Job summary

Bayer CropScience Limited in Warsaw is seeking a SharePoint Solution Architect to shape modern collaboration and deliver scalable solutions across the enterprise. You will work at the intersection of business and technology, translating complex requirements into secure architectures and guiding solution delivery.

You will partner with business leaders, product teams, and engineers to define designs, ensure security, and drive adoption of Microsoft collaboration technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Several years of experience as a Solution Architect, Collaboration Architect, or similar.
• Strong experience designing SharePoint-based and enterprise collaboration solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud).
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and enterprise system integrations.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end SharePoint and collaboration solutions aligned with objectives.
• Create architectural blueprints, solution designs, and technical docs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and deliver technology solutions.

SharePoint Solution Architect

As a SharePoint Solution Architect, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering modern collaboration and business solutions across the organization. You will work at the intersection of business and technology, designing scalable architectures, guiding solution delivery, and driving the adoption of Microsoft collaboration technologies.

In this role, you will partner with business leaders, product teams, and engineering stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into secure, scalable, and user-centric solutions. You will provide architectural leadership across the full solution lifecycle, from concept and design through implementation and continuous improvement.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design end-to-end SharePoint and collaboration solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.
• Create and maintain architectural blueprints, solution designs, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product managers, developers, and enterprise architects to define and deliver technology solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and integration approaches that support current and future business needs.
• Lead the integration of new solutions with existing platforms, applications, and infrastructure.
• Define non-functional requirements including scalability, performance, reliability, and security.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify architectural risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Drive architectural reviews and promote best practices across delivery teams.
• Mentor engineers and solution teams, providing technical guidance and leadership.
• Continuously assess emerging technologies and industry trends to improve collaboration and productivity solutions.

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Several years of experience as a Solution Architect, Collaboration Architect, or a comparable architecture role.
• Strong experience designing and implementing SharePoint-based and enterprise collaboration solutions.
• Solid understanding of modern software architecture principles, design patterns, and integration approaches.
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and enterprise system integrations.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to influence technical decisions across cross-functional teams.
• Experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams and promoting architectural best practices.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, and related services.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working within large, global enterprise environments.
• Understanding of data platform and integration architectures.

At Bayer, we are committed to transparency, equal pay for equal work or work of equal value, and objective reward practices in line with EU and local regulations. The minimum monthly gross compensation for this role is 15 360 PLN, with final pay determined based on objective factors such as experience, qualifications, scope of responsibility, and internal alignment.

This position is eligible for variable pay components, such as performance‑based bonuses, awarded in accordance with the applicable employee group, role scope, and compensation structure.
