Job summary

Fujitsu is seeking a ServiceNow Application Developer to design, create, test and document new and amended programs based on supplied specifications. You will provide ongoing maintenance and support to users and service delivery functions, and contribute to project and sales documentation, as well as technical specifications and manuals.

The role involves managing documentation and applying development standards while using new technologies to produce competitive solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with the ServiceNow platform configuration, administration and support.
• Knowledge of at least two modules: AI Agents, CSM, CMDB/CSDM, GRC, TPRM, HRSD, IRM, ITSM, Platform Administration, System Administration, VR.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, test and document new and amended programs from supplied specifications in accordance with standards.
• Provide application maintenance and support services to users or service delivery functions.
• Create project and sales documentation (plans, schedules, estimates, scope) and maintain technical documentation.

What’s the role about?

Purpose Of Role

Responsible for the design, creation, testing and documenting of new and amended programs from supplied specifications in accordance with agreed standards. The provision of application maintenance and support services, either directly to users of the applications or to service delivery functions.

Key Activities

• Product Development. Designs, develops, implements and tests modules and products in line with agreed timelines, budget, costs, quality and development standards. Actively participates in calculation of development and product costs. Contributes to the production, maintenance and/or testing of maintainable solutions with a low density of defects.
• IT Integration. Provides integration facilities and provisions logistics.
• Process Improvement. Suggests and implements proposals for process improvements within projects.
• Innovation. Uses new technologies and methods actively to develop highly competitive products.
• Documentation. Provides technical documentation on realized modules / products, following internal standards. Creates documentation on development work: analytical documentation on the required code and functionality changes as well as technical specifications and manuals.
• Project: Creates project documentation related to creating and developing software (plans, schedules, estimates, general scope of work), creates sales documentation (offers, project descriptions, role descriptions, PoC)
• Maintenance. Provides Back Level maintenance support, including problem solving, for own modules and if necessary, for foreign (sourced from third party supplier) components.
• Lifecycle. Provides development support during lifecycle of modules and products, bugfixing activities. Is responsible for development of new versions and updates based on defined requirements.
• Technical Expertise. Maintains high level of product and solution knowledge. Ensures that their skill profile is up to date.

• Proven experience working with the ServiceNow platform, including platform configuration, administration, and support.
• Knowledge of 2 of the following list:

  • Data Foundation (CMDB & CSDM)
  • Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)
  • Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)
