Overview

The Service Department in Jordan, part of the MENA Operations team, is responsible for the operation and maintenance of multiple wind farms located in Al Tafila and Ma'an. The team ensures optimal performance and availability of each wind turbine, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of renewable energy production in the region.

Responsibilities

As a Wind Turbine Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of wind turbines across various sites in Jordan. Your key responsibilities include:

• Work to the highest safety and environmental standards, strictly adhering to Vestas policies and procedures
• Conduct periodic service inspections in line with Vestas specifications, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently to minimize downtime, including component replacement and system adjustments
• Ensure smooth turbine operation through condition monitoring systems and remote control tools
• Maintain a well-equipped service vehicle and warehouse by managing inventory and ordering necessary tools, materials, and spare parts
• Assemble and disassemble minor and major components following documented instructions and technical guidelines

Qualifications

• Electrical Diploma accompanied by a passion to develop your skills further within the field
• Good computer skills, experienced in handling different tools or systems to monitor work and documentation
• Good English skills, both written and spoken
• Valid driver's license
