Job summary

GE Vernova’s Engineering Innovation Center in Warsaw seeks a qualified Thermal-Hydraulic Analyst to contribute to LOCA, containment and safety analyses for current and future BWR projects. You will perform two‑phase TH calculations, support reloads, design applications and interface with design, licensing and operations teams worldwide.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in an engineering discipline, experience in TH Nuclear Plant Safety Analysis, and familiarity with TRACG, RELAP or TRACE, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• Experience in TH Nuclear Plant Safety Analysis.
• MS in Nuclear Engineering is preferred.
• Knowledge of BWR ECCS LOCA and Containment analyses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform plant TH evaluations in ECCS LOCA, Containment, HELB, and related analyses.
• Lead and support two-phase TH analyses and fuel project activities.
• Collaborate with mechanical, core design, licensing and systems teams.
• Document and present technical data to customers.
• Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge management.
• Develop and deliver TH training courses as needed.
• Drive process improvements to increase speed and simplicity.
• Ensure work complies with regulatory requirements and QA standards.
