Job summary

Woodward, Inc. in Niepołomice, Poland seeks an experienced engineer to design, support, improve, and test moderate to high complexity test systems and equipment.

You will plan, schedule, and coordinate test project phases while contributing to new test strategies and equipment estimates. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Mechatronics or related field, 4+ years of experience, ability to read hydraulic/electrical schematics, and strong English/Polish communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechatronics or related field is required.
• Over 4 years of proven industry experience.
• Proficiency reading/creating hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Excellent teamwork and English/Polish communication.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Solid knowledge of LabVIEW and signal processing.
• Experience with AS 9100 standards and metrology basics.

Job description

What you will do:

• Design, support, improve, and test moderate to high complexity test systems and equipment, ensuring designs meet testability and reliability criteria

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate the detailed phases of test projects

• Contribute to the creation and evaluation of new product test requirements, test strategies, and provide estimates for new test equipment

• Participate in test data analysis and investigate root causes of unknown tested unit performance

• Maintain high quality of test results and ensure data integrity

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering or related field

• More than 4 years of proven experience in a relevant industry

• Proficiency in reading and creating hydraulic and electrical schematics

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills in English and Polish (written and spoken)

• Ability to work independently under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements to meet deadlines

• Solid knowledge of LabVIEW

• Ability to analyze and process signals from various sensors

• Working experience with AS 9100 standards

• Knowledge of metrology principles
  Nice to have:

• Knowledge of metrology principles

• Basic understanding of servovalves (electro-hydraulic, electro-pneumatic) and hydraulic actuators (single/double acting)

• Knowledge of supervisory controls, such and PLCs
